Ruddock’s Ranch 2022 – The LOONS Flyfishing Club

We had an exceptional four days at Ruddock’s Ranch for the annual Chairman’s Outing. Much like the rest of the province the weather was cool and definitely not the heat wave that the club endured at last year’s outing. The food and accommodation provided by our hosts Agi and Gord was exceptional. It certainly wasn’t a trip where anyone came back feeling lighter ( except maybe Jim W). The fishing was spotty although there were lots of rises on the lake. There would be intermittent flurries of great fishing and then longer periods of inactivity… just like real fishing. The attached photos tell the tale. I want to say a special thanks to all the members and prospective members that showed up. I think the past two outings have shown there is still a strong interest within the club to have more fish outs and I look forward to a great year ahead.
